Floris Fluitsma
As a young boy, Floris already knew he wanted to become a ‘holiday maker’. Born and raised in the Netherlands, he was found travelling the globe at the age of only 17 (which was back in 1985). He spent most of his career in travel & hospitality before settling Down Under.
Floris got, or better yet still gets, captivated by this remote continent-island. Its isolation, both geographical and societal, has imparted to Australia much of its wonder and charm. Feeling at ease with the character found in many Aussies – outgoing, fun, engaging, smart, enthusiastic and self-reliant – Floris now proudly calls his beloved country home.
What makes him tick? Well, differentiating and growing Australia Inbound is Floris’ absolute passion, as is ice cream. And he’s always in to try and do new things and loves venturing into Australia’s great outdoors.
