Experience a unique journey through one of Europe’s most unexplored regions. Embark on an adventure in Albania to discover its history, diverse cultures, gastronomy, renowned hospitality, and stunning mountain and coastal landscapes.
Arrival at Tirana Airport, meet your guide, and transfer to Kruje.
Visit one of the oldest towns in Europe.
Explore the town, including its old bazaar and the medieval Skanderbeg Fortress. Often compared to Alexander the Great, Skanderbeg is a true hero in the Balkans for resisting the Ottoman Empire.
OPTION: Visit a Pliss workshop, the traditional Albanian hat (€7.5 / person).

After breakfast, depart for the Ardenica Monastery, built in the 13th century and considered one of the most beautiful Orthodox monuments in Albania.
Continue to Apollonia of Illyria, the ruins of the largest ancient Greek city in Albania, founded in 625 B.C.
Lunch at a seafood restaurant in Fier.
OPTION: On the way, stop at an olive oil workshop, “Musai Olive” (€10 / person).
Continue to the port city of Vlora, where Albanian independence was declared.
Dinner and overnight in Vlora.

After breakfast, set out to discover Zvërnec Island, a small island located on a 9-hectare lagoon, accessible only by a wooden walkway.
Continue your journey toward Saranda.
On the way, make a stop at Llogora National Park, enjoying the stunning mountain landscapes.
Stop at Ali Pasha Castle, home of the famous governor of the region under the Ottoman Empire, often compared to Napoleon for his military strategies and alliances (subject to opening hours).
Visit Butrint, an archaeological site listed as UNESCO World Heritage, once occupied by Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Venetians. The site showcases the ruins of these ancient civilizations.
Arrive in Saranda, one of Albania’s largest seaside resorts, located opposite the Greek island of Corfu.
Dinner at Lekures Castle (traditional animation: +€250) and overnight in Saranda.

After breakfast, depart for the natural spring of the Blue Eye and visit this remarkable natural site.
Continue your journey toward Gjirokastra.
Upon arrival, admire the architecture of its two-story houses, dating from the 17th century, which give the impression of observing a painting with a thousand windows.
Visit the Gjirokastra Citadel, which overlooks the city.
Lunch at an eco-restaurant, The Barrel, before entering the city.
Continue your journey after the visit toward Permet.
Dinner and overnight in Permet.

Visit the Langarica Canyon and the Permët thermal baths or “Benja.” Relax in this postcard-perfect setting and take a stroll around the area.
In the afternoon, arrive in Korça, also called “Little Paris” for its role as the center of Francophonie in Albania and for its café culture.
Visit Korça and wander through its streets to discover its many monuments, including the country’s largest Orthodox cathedral, the Cathedral of the Resurrection, and the old bazaar.

On the way, stop at St. Naum Monastery, built in the 10th century and nestled in lush greenery, a peaceful refuge located on the border between Albania and North Macedonia.
Photo stop at the “Bay of Bones”, an authentic reconstruction of part of a settlement dating from 1200 to 700 B.C. Visit St. Naum Monastery.
Lunch in Ohrid.
Begin a visit of Ohrid, a city with well-preserved historical heritage, including St. Jovan Church and the Roman-era ancient theater. You will also have the opportunity to visit Ohrid Fortress, overlooking the city and offering magnificent views of the town and the lake.

After breakfast, head to Tirana, the capital of Albania.
Explore Tirana, a city in constant evolution. Once dull and gray, the city experienced an international boom after the fall of communism, becoming a lively, colorful, and vibrant metropolis with a unique atmosphere. Tirana is fascinating, representing both the past and the future of Albania.
Enjoy an exterior visit of Skanderbeg Square, Et’hem Bey Mosque (1824), the Clock Tower (1822), and the government buildings.
