Trencadis Workshop

The art of mosaic is a "stone painting for eternity" of more than 5000 years old. Antoni Gaudi, breaking the ceramic mosaic and recomposing the pieces imperfectly, used the mosaic technique (called trencadís in Catalan) in a new and masterful way, giving color and pictorial quality to architectural surfaces and facades, using it in his own buildings and influencing generations of architects in the future. In the mosaic workshop, your private teacher will give you a brief explanation about the technique and show you how to perform the task so that you can then create your own piece using the same materials (glass and enameled pottery) and so bring you a very staff for an unforgettable day.
