This 21 days tour covers almost all highlight tourist spots in China, and it would make you have a comprehensive idea and comfortable travel experience. It also combines sightseeing of modern cities like Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, as well as natural and cultural beauty in Chengdu, Lijiang, Dali, Kunming, and Yangshuo.
Day 1: Beijing
Transfer from Beijing airport to hotel for rest according to your international flight.
One of Asia’s most significant cities and capital of the most populous nation on the planet, Beijing sits firmly in the modern spotlight. The host of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, Beijing is home to a rapidly growing modern core and, unlike Shanghai, also has a fascinating traditional and cultural core. Home to six of the country’s 43 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Beijing is a must-see city when visiting China.
Day 2: Beijing
Day Tour in Beijing City Center:
The driver and local guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 8:00 in the morning to take you to visit the Temple of Heaven and experience 1 hour Taichi lesson to relax your body in it. Then, continue to feel the Tiananmen Square and majesty Forbidden City. After lunch, transfer to enjoy your Hutong tour with rickshaw. After full day excursion, you will be transferred back to hotel for rest. Temple of Heaven was the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing would pray to heaven for good harvests in ancient times and nowadays many Beijingers are practicing all kinds of physical exercise in the morning.
The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 by UNESCO as the “Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties”, due to its significant place in the development of Chinese architecture and culture. Hutong refers to the small and narrow alleyways between rows of courtyards and it is estimated that there are thousands of hutongs in Beijing. Rickshaw and Hutong are usually regarded as the symbol of Beijing in 20th century.
Day 3: Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall Tour:
The driver and local guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 8:00 in the morning to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. After lunch, transfer back to Beijing to take your leisure time in the beautiful Royal Garden- Summer Palace. On the way back to hotel, the private car will stop at Olympic Stadium, where you could take some photos from outside. The Great Wall is reputed as the 8th Wonder of the World and Mutia nyu part has the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall. Day 4: Beijing – Xi’an
Transfer from Beijing hotel to train station before 2.5 hours according to your train departing time. Fast train Beijing-Xi’an: Fast train from Beijing West Train Station to Xi’an North Train Station in second class, usually takes 5.5 hours.

Located in the region of Shaanxi, Xi’an was once the epicentre of Chinese culture and power for more than two thousand years. Considered by many to be the penultimate classic city on the planet, Xi’an predates nearly every historical milestone in our modern lexicon. Via its location as the easternmost point of the Silk Road, Xi’an influenced numerous ancient cultures with goods and knowledge passed along the route to the outside world. It is also home to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors.
Day Tour in Xi’an City Center:
The driver and local guide will meet you at your hotel lobby to take you to visit Dahua 1935 Spinning Mill and Muslim Quarter. Transfer back to your hotel after the excursion. Dahua 1935 Spinning Mill demonstrates the history of the China textile industry history. You’ll gain an appreciation for the hardships the workers went through in Xi’an and the surrounding areas. Muslim Quarter is a fantastic and famous place which sells almost everything you can expect.
Day 5: Xi’an
Terracotta Army Tour in Xi’an:
The driver and local guide will pick up you in the hotel lobby at 08:30, and transfer you to enjoy the great Terracotta Army After lunch, transfer back to Xi’an to walk around in the peaceful Small Wild Goose Pagoda scenic area, then experience the one-hour Chinese calligraphy lesson. After full day excursion, you will be transferred back to hotel for. Terra-cotta Warriors, the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin’s tomb. It is not only reputed as the world’s Largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda was originally established in 684 A.D. in honor of Li Zhi – Emperor Gaozong of Tang dynasty. After visiting it, you will have calligraphy lesson to experience the traditional Chinese culture.
Day 6: Xi’an – Chengdu

Retaining much of its original charm despite the pressures presented by newfound affluence, Chengdu is a laid-back city compared with others in the very diverse Chinese nation. It is easy to wander through Chengdu and find the large number of local artisans and restaurants selling the world-famous (and spicy!) Sichuan cuisine. Chengdu is also the perfect launch pad for travelers interested in the nearby Giant Pandas. There are about a thousand left in the wild and they are all located within the Sichuan bamboo-forested region.
Excursion of Panda Breeding Center:
The driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby take tou to visit Panda Breeding Center. After excrusion, you will be transferred back to hotel for rest.
You will visit the world-famous Panda Breeding Center, where you can observe these beautiful endangered species from the Sichuan Region (particularly the Giant Panda) being bred and prepared for their release to the wild.
Day 7: Chengdu
Excursion of Leshan Mountain:
The driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00.
You’ll be transferred on a 2.5-hour journey to Leshan to visit the tallest carved Buddha in the world, 233 feet (71 meters) high and 92 feet (28 meters) wide. Day 8: Chengdu-Lijiang

As soon as you arrive in Lijiang, you’ll understand why this city is well loved by travelers. A wonderful labyrinth of cobbled streets, markets, canals and old historical wooden buildings, Lijiang’s charming old heart and setting in the middle of a beautiful valley give it a unique character. There are numerous excursions that can be made throughout and outside the city, enough to keep a traveler entranced for days or even weeks. You won’t want to leave.

Lijiang Old Town, also called Dayan Old Town, is a well-preserved ancient town for Naxi ethnic group. Old Town of Lijiang was listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, including Dayan Old Town, Shuhe Old Town and Baisha Old Town. The old streets are the network of the old town, flowing water is the blood, the bars and shops are the temperament and the Naxi folk customs are culture are the soul of Lijiang Old Town. You can not only explore the amazing ancient town with hundred years’ history, but also experience the spirit and feel romantic, relaxing charm of the town without city walls.
Day 9: Lijiang
The driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00. Start from the hotel in the morning with a 2.5-hour journey to the entrance of Tiger Leaping Gorge. Enjoy this marvellous gorge for about two hours before transferring back to to your hotel in Lijiang. Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the world’s deepest canyons and considered to be one of China’s most beautiful natural landscapes. It offers a spectacular view. It is located where the river passes between 5,596-metre Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and 5,396-meter Haba Snow Mountain in a series of rapids under steep 2000 meter cliffs. It’s not to be missed.
Day 10: Lijiang-Dali
Half Day Tour in Dali:
The Dali driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby. Take a half hour private transfer to Xizhou Old Town. Have a good look at the typical Bai Minority style local houses or have a small communication with villagers, which is one of the strongest surviving minorities in China’s Yunnan province.
Day 11: Dali-Kunming
The driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 08:30. Transfer to visit the Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake with cruise and Three Pagodas.
Cangshan Mountain is a combination of beautiful natural scenery and historical sites. There are nineteen peaks and eighteen streams as well as some old temples and caves. The snow-capped peaks, flowing clouds, murmuring brooks and mists are fascinating and the snow of Cangshan Mountain is especially intoxicating which becomes the one of the four best highlights of Dali. No matter you visit the mountain by taking cable car or by hiking, Cangshan Mountain will never disappoint you. Dali Erhai Lake (Ear-shaped Sea), at 1972 meters above sea level, is the second largest highland lake of Yunnan, after Dianchi Lake. With crystal clear water and the charming landscape, Erhai Lake is reputed as “Pearl of Plateau”. Hence, “Silver Cangshan Mountain and Jade Erhai Lake” is used to depict the amazing scene of Erhai Lake.
The magnificent Chongsheng Temple and the well-known Three Pagodas are the symbol of Dali. Originally, the Chongsheng Temple was built in the time of Kingdom of Nanzhao in 10th century to be near the Dali Three Pagodas, so people call them “Chongsheng Temple and Three Pagodas”. If you look at it from a distance, the pagodas are like three giant ballpoint pens breaking up the landscape of the never-ending mountains and emerald rice fields of Yunnan.

Day 12: Kunming
Transfer from Kunming train station to hotel when you arrive at Kunming in the morning. Breakfast is not included on this day.
Excursion of Stone Forest:
The driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00
The tour starts with a one-hour drive from your hotel to the Stone Forest for a 2.5-hour visit, after which you’ll return to your hotel in Kunming.
The Stone Forest is world-famous for its unique geological value, with a series of limestone formations extending high above the ground in stalagmite-style structures, giving it the impression of a vast forest made out of stone. Parts of this “forest” have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the area sports diverse shapes, exotic forms, complex causations and a long history. Day 13: Kunming-Guilin-Yangshuo
Transfer from Kunming hotel to airport before 3.5 hours according to your flight departing time.

For many travelers to China, Yangshuo is often at the top of their list of best memories of the country. While the city itself has its many charms as a popular laid-back destination, it’s the spectacular natural surroundings that make Yangshuo a must-visit. Whether floating down the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo, or simply exploring nearby villages, it is nearly impossible to escape the beauty of the limestone-hilled countryside.
Day 14: Yangshuo
Countryside Cycling & Yulong River Bamboo Rafting:
You’ll be picked up at your hotel lobby by your guide at 09:00, who will take you around to the local villages on a fascinating cycling journey through the culture of the region. In the afternoon, you will then enjoy a relaxing bamboo rafting experience on Yulong River where you’ll glide past the amazing
scenery of karst formations, water buffaloes and rugged wild scenery before returning back to your hotel.
Day 15: Yangshuo

Shanghai has reawakened following a relatively sleepy p eriod during the early years of Communism. Prior to Communism, Shanghai had a notor ious reputation and a number of unflattering nicknames. Today, Shanghai is symbolized b y the glittering hyper-modern architecture along the riverfront which is the subject of nearly every p hoto of the city. With such a high level of glitter and glamour juxtaposed with grit and poverty, Sha they are fascinating.
Day 17: Shanghai
Day Tour in Shanghai City Center:
The driver and guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 9:00 to take you to visit Jade Buddha Temple first. Then, continue to the market near the Yuan Garden to taste the snacks, look for the souvenir and explore the Chinese characteristics. In the afternoon, standing on the second ball of Oriental Pearl TV Tower to have an overview of the famous Bund. After full day excursion, you will be transferred back to hotel for rest. Jade Buddha Temple is a major yet relatively inactive, Taoist temple in Shanghai. The market near Yuyuan is not only famous tourist site but also popular shopping attractions. There are boutiques, shops selling local specialties, as well as large jewelry stores, department stores and fabulous local snack restaurants to be found there. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower has been the outstanding landmark of Shanghai since its completion in 1995, at 468 m high. Here visitor can get a panoramic view of the Bund and Pudong New area.
Day 18: Shanghai
Suzhou Day Tour from Shanghai:
The driver and local guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 08:00 to transfer to Suzhou, about 2 hours on the road. In Suzhou, the Master of Nets Garden is the highlight you can’t miss, then go to Shantang street to enjoy the Hui custom with the cruise in the Grand Canal along with the painted picture of stone arch bridges, ancient architectures and daily life of the locals. Then, go to Silk factory, here you must be excited after knowing the production process of Chinese silk. In late afternoon, transfer back to Shanghai to end your tour.
Master-Of-Net Garden is one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou. Being the most exquisite and the best-preserved garden among all old residential gardens in Suzhou, the garden was laid out during the Song dynasty (960 – 1279), abandoned, and then restored in the 18th century as part of the residence of a retired official.
Suzhou is famous for making silk products, so in Silk factory, you can see how the silk are made from cocoons. You will be amazed by the quantity and quality of silk products displayed for sale here. Shantang Street was one of the streets where trade and culture were most highly developed in Ming and Qing dynasties. The renovated Shantang Street becomes the place which shows the essence of natural views and human landscapes of Suzhou. The grand canal cruise from here will bring both impressive scenery along it and peace in mind.
Day 19: Shanghai-Hong Kong

One can either view Hong Kong as schizophrenic or profoundly cosmopolitan, but it depends on one’s experience and perspective. Once a member of the British Commonwealth before the historic handover back to China in 1997, Hong Kong proudly displays its mixed background with numerous nationalities walking in the streets amongst immense towers. The influences of India, Vietnam and the Philippines – and even Vancouver, Canada – are readily apparent here. It is truly one of the world’s great international cities.
Day 20: Hong Kong
Half Day Tour in Hongkong:
Your driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and Victoria Peak. Then the driver will leave you on your own here or drive you back to your hotel. The use of the car and service time of the guide is within 5 hours.
Aberdeen village is home to hundreds of people living on fishing junks. Their traditional lifestyle is dramatically juxtaposed against a modern high-rise community spread over the nearby hillsides.
Repulse Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in Hong Kong. Primarily an upmarket residential area, it has a relaxed resort-like atmosphere.
Stanley market is a popular market town on the sunny south side of Hong Kong Island, its relaxed ambience, crisp sea environs and bargain buys have made it world famous. Victoria Peak is one of the most popular attractions in Hong Kong. Looking down from The Peak you’ll be amazed by the spectacular view of the surrounding city skyline, the world-famous Victoria Harbour and the towering skyscrapers and peaceful green hillsides.
Day 21: Hong Kong
