1. How did you end up working in the tourism industry?
My father founded an incoming tour operator 40 years ago. Since then we always had the tourism “virus” in the family. Starting my experience at a very young age in the hotel industry I finally ended up in the tourism business where I have lived up to our years of reputation by expanding and strengthen our activities.

2. What inspired you to start this company?
The Tourism industry has always been my passion. I have been in the industry long enough to realize its potential it has for our country.

3. Describe your first sale/customer:
When I entered the business, at the age of 20, I was surprisingly sent to my first fair to meet travel agents in France. My first sale was a young group of windsurfers that had heard of a windy island in Greece. To my surprise it was my favourite island and sport and there we go, I made my first sale!

4. What was your first tour like – and what has changed compared to your most recent?
Greece was a new destination where people were discovering a beautiful country. After all these years we had to constantly innovate our products and adapt to a clientele with different needs and requirements.

5. What part of the company are you most proud of and why?
When I entered the business, it was mainly a tour operator dedicated agency, so I had to build our FIT reputation from zero and I have managed to bring it to a very adequate level up to this very day.

6. What do you feel sets your company apart from other DMC’s?
We have managed to establish a substantial clientele, individuals from all over the world, solid relationships with numerous group travel specializing agencies in Europe, the US and Canada. We know Greece by heart, we are now one of the oldest DMC’s in the country, we deliver top notch services at all times.

7. What does a standard working day look like for you?
It’s busy, busy, busy!!! Working in this business is always unpredictable

8. What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Honestly, it’s my youngest daughter. She loves to have her breakfast with me. This early wake up helps me organize my day at the office, my meetings and workload to be carried out.

9. What keeps you up at night?
The Canadians….. because of the time difference!!!

10. What other CEOs do you look up to and why?
Jean Francois Rialm founder of Voyageurs du monde groupe has always been an inspiration for me.
He has created the perfect travel agency with specialized agents for each country and continent .

11. Where do you see the company in 5 years?
We wish to grow more worldwide but most of all we wish to maintain our level of services and to keep creating unique memories for our customers. We have planned to expand our network in the next years with new co-operations and markets to be open to us by then.
